Yet another weblog about tango?
It was december 2009, and my life (as I knew it) was about to change during the next year. I made plans to move to another country, and switch lifestyle. A big step indeed, from the large city to the countryside. I was aware of that.
But little did I know what would happen in july 2010. It was on the Krokstrand festival 2010 that I made my first steps into the world of tango. Me, a 58 year old white male, taking his first dance lessons..... Stumbling, hesitating, and above all, wondering. Asking questions. What is this, this tango...?
This weblog is about my journey into a strange land. I'm just a tourist, knowing nothing. But I want to know, I want to learn. I'll write here about my experiences, my questions, music that I like, people that I meet. Not because I think that my thoughts are so important, but as a diary, to remember.
