OK, after what seems a long time, I'm here to write again. Why, well, it's good to reflect once in a while. I still think so. And, I took new steps in my Tango adventure. My first classes where like off and on. My dance partner disappeared after some 5 lessons, so I stood at the side a lot (yes, the teachers did rotate the couples, but it was different.) Then I was abroad for work, two months, so I could not attend the continuation classes. Not so good for a beginner like myself.
But, that's all over now, I found a partner (she comes from a simulair situation), we took some private lessons, and we're now a theme course. Next autumn hopefully the continuation after the beginners course.

Abrazo
I was on a festival in Amsterdam, very interesting, my first festival! I followed two courses. As a beginner at Sebastian and Marijke
One thing I remember in particulair. A whole lesson about Abrazo.
Fascinating, this.
One thing I remember in particulair. A whole lesson about Abrazo.
In Tango, the dance begins before you start to dance. And even before you touch. You approach each other. Pay attention. Focus. The leader invites the follower by lifting the left arm, opening the hand. Waits. The follower anwers by placing her hand in his. The leader puts his right arm around the follower. They listen to the music, moving on the rithm. The leader starts the dance.
Fascinating, this.
